Since 1972, His works have been included in most of the major collective exhibitions of Argentine and Latin American art held abroad, including in New York, Miami, Mexico City, Seville, Paris, Cologne, Austin, Phoenix, Bogotá, Caracas, Oxford, El Paso, Boston, Indianapolis, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Rome, Barcelona, and Madrid. Exhibitions that include as organizing institutions museums and entities such as, for example, MoMA, the Jack Blanton Museum of The University of Texas at Austin (formerly the Archer Huntington Art Gallery), the Museum of Modern Art of Oxford, the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas, the Mercosur Biennial of Visual Arts, the National Fund for the Arts (Argentina), El Museo del Barrio, the Bronx Museum of the Arts and the Queens Museum (the latter three in New York), the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Museum Ludwig (Cologne), the Centre d'Art Santa Mónica (Barcelona), the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the José Ángel Arango Cultural Center Library.

In September 2000 The Ruth Benzacar gallery and her son Ramón present a limited CD re-edition of their album El gusanito en persona.
